What is the worst day for flight traffic?

By far, the worst day for flight traffic so far this year has been May 22, the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. There were 92 flights recorded passing by that day.

Update: The same day I wrote this post, a new record was set. Today there were at least 95 private jets and helicopters that flew overhead. What’s disconcerting is that, as far as I know, this wasn’t a holiday weekend. What’s even more disturbing is that a lot of these flights aren’t for getting from point A to point B, but rather joyrides and recreation. In other words, many of these climate-destroying flights are completely unnecessary.

If this recent data is any indication of a pattern, then this summer may see a record number of private jet flights, corroborating recent reporting on this topic. The rich are absolutely making this planet unlivable for the 99%.
