One of these things alone causes insufferable noise, but imagine five of these things circling overhead at the same time. Wouldn’t a reasonable person be upset by this?
This is why the Airnoise data only tells part of the story. It’s not just how frequently these planes are passing overhead, but also how long they are circling one area and how many of them are clustered in an area.
I was able to identify four of the five planes above: N3544G, registered to MID-ISLAND AIR SERVICE INC; N58888, registered to Robert C Ducommun; N302L, registered to CIRRUS DESIGN CORP; and N127HF, registered to HERITAGE ASSET LEASING LLC.
