I took this random snapshot on Flightradar. Notice how across the entire island, the greatest density of plane and helicopter traffic is by far in the area between Brookhaven Airport and Westhampton Beach Airport, which is where I live.
The vast majority of this flight traffic is completely unnecessary. I don’t care if you’re a billionaire or CEO. No one is so important that it justifies destroying the planet just to save 30 minutes off their travel time.
People are living in denial.
