Icarus Flying Academy

I was outside gardening this afternoon, and this plane, registered to Icarus Flying Academy (registration # N890MA) was doing tight looping patterns overhead. I was wearing earplugs, but this ratchet 1974 Piper PA-28-151 was so loud that I could hear it as if I wasn’t even wearing ear protection. (And it’s sad that I have to wear ear protection outside, given that exposure to nature and its sounds is vital to mental health.)

The plane originated from Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY, and what I don’t understand is why they don’t fly their planes over their own neighborhood. People in my area are already burdened with the planes flying out of Brookhaven and Gabreski Airports. We shouldn’t be burdened with the noise pollution from Nassau County as well.
