JUMP1

Here is JUMP1 (registered to anonymous Bank of Utah Trustee) taking an overly drawn out path around my neighborhood, causing an extra-agonizing noise disturbance:

What may have been 30 to 60 seconds of noise pollution, becomes protracted for over 3 minutes. This is what it sounds like:

And note what happens at the 1:32 mark. Another private jet passes (N603EF, registered to ELITE AVIATION GROUP LLC), which causes the noise from both planes to augment each other.

Now imagine this happening throughout the day.

This is what it looks like:

Do you hear the birds in the audio? I won’t go into great detail here, because it’s depressing, but bird populations are collapsing, and noise pollution (among other factors including insecticides, climate change, and land development) is an important factor. Here are some recent studies:

“Noise pollution is affecting birds’ reproduction, stress levels and more. The good news is we can fix it,” by Madden et al., February 11, 2026.

“Noise pollution causes chronic stress in birds, with health consequences for young,” by Kleist et al., January 8, 2018.

“Noise Pollution Changes Avian Communities and Species Interactions,” by Francis et al., August 25, 2009.

Update: Here’s JUMP1 making another pass directly overhead at 10:18 am. The noise was so loud that even though I am wearing my Sony noise-cancelling headphones, I could still hear it.
